BetterLiving Sunrooms & Awnings by ADDCO was founded in 2012 by Jim Canino and Tim Hazlett, but their experience in the industry goes back much further.
Before starting the company, Jim and Tim spent years working in the sunroom and outdoor living space industry, building the knowledge and skills that would eventually allow them to operate on their own. When the opportunity came to start ADDCO, they hit the ground running.
A few years later, they brought in longtime colleague and friend Steve Miles—adding over 30 years of construction experience to the team.
Today, the three still own and operate the business locally, bringing together decades of hands-on experience in sunrooms, screen rooms, and outdoor living projects across the Kansas City area.
